1. What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (local/session storage, pixels) store or access information on your device. UK law (PECR) requires your consent for all but strictly necessary technologies.

2. How we use them

We set strictly necessary technologies automatically (these keep you logged in, remember your interface preferences, and record your cookie choice). Product analytics (PostHog) are set only after you opt in via our consent banner, and never before. We do not use any advertising or marketing cookies. You can change your choice anytime via the cookie settings control.

Aggregate page counts (no consent needed, nothing stored on your device). For every visitor we count page views, the page you arrived on, the referring website, campaign (UTM) tags and your device type and browser family. This uses no cookies or device storage, and keeps no personal data: your visit is recognised only within a single day by a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, salted with a secret that rotates daily and is then discarded, so it cannot be linked across days or back to you. Only the daily totals are kept.

If you sign in, PostHog receives a pseudonymous id derived from your account (never your name or email) and your plan tier. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not sell this data.

4. Managing cookies

Use our cookie settings control to accept or reject non-essential categories at any time. You can also block cookies in your browser, though strictly necessary cookies are required for the Service to work.
